Evaluation: What have you learnt from your audience feeback?

What have you learned from your audience feedback? by Singer102

To get feedback from our video we decided to show a small audience our music video and we then asked them a few question the feedback we received was mostly positive so we are confident if we showed a larger audience they would also like it.

Our first interviewee was Yazmin, she told us that she enjoyed our videos humorous nature but she also had a criticism of the video saying that one part of the video would of been better if filmed in a different setting, though the particular scene she was talking about was very short. In my opinion i can defiantly see where yaz is coming from and if we were to develop the video further we could adapt the Mise-en-scene of this scene.

John's interviewee was Elliot; he once again stated that he enjoyed the comical elements of the video. He also said that he thought the image and sound relationship worked really well which we were pleased about. He accepted the verisimilitude of the piece whilst having to construct information from the lack of the dominant ideology that men are superior. We wanted our video to show Stacy's character as superior by making her mime to a male voice but she is quite clearly a woman.

And finally my interviewee was Johnny a Music student. He had many interesting opinions on both the video and song. Johnny also raised an important point; the repetition of image is important in a music video. It is easier for the audience to accept in a short time.

Overall our audience feedback was very positive and we have learned that people can understand the song and videos message which we feel is very important
